Amy
Thank you for considering adoption for your child. Your child will be welcomed with loving arms into a secure and happy home. Your child will always know that we were brought together by your loving decision.
Adoption
Adoption is the best choice for me, should you decide I am the family for your baby, because I haven't yet found that special man to marry with whom I could raise a family. I am ready to build a family. I look forward to parenting by sharing my dreams and experiences with a child. It is my hope that I experience a fulfilling and comfortable connection with you!
My Values:
I believe we should treat people the way we want to be treated. I value compassion respect, kindness, honesty, and work diligently to reflect these characteristics in my life. In addition, my spiritual life is very important to me, and I value the support of my Catholic Church community. I believe being raised in an environment of having fun combined with loving guidance and manners will provide a child with opportunities to grow and develop into a well-rounded individual.
My Life
A suburban Minnesota neighborhood is where I grew up with my parents, two older sisters and one younger brother. I have a very close relationship with all of them and they are very supportive and excited about my decision to adopt. I am especially close to my six nieces. I spend many hours with them whether it's trips to the mall, parks, movies, or playing with dolls. All six of them have had many "girls' nights" at my house. They also love playing with my dog "Nala" who is great with children and loves to give them kisses.
My Work:
I work as a manager at a large financial services / insurance company. I have worked there for almost ten years and am very thankful for a fulfilling career. My job allows me the flexibility to balance work and life. It allows me to be readily available as a mom. I enjoy my time away from work by spending it with family and friends.
For Fun:
Personal and family time is really important to me. I make family holidays, birthdays, and get togethers a priority and often spend time at the family cabin in northern Minnesota. I am especially excited for my Dad to teach my child how to fish. I look forward to sharing leisure activities with my child, including traveling, swimming, hiking, walks to the park and spending time at home with movies and games. Friends are very important to me, too. I have a diverse group of friends that I get together with on a regular basis to barbeque, eat out, and gather for movies or just to hang out. Many of these friends have children. One of my closest friends of thirty years has five boys and I am godmother to one of them. We include the children in our activities and all my friends are excited that I am adopting.
For You:
Thank you for taking the time to learn about me. I respect and appreciate your difficult decision in choosing adoption. Please know that I would be honored if you chose me to be your child's mother. Please feel free to contact me anytime. My thoughts are with you as you make this very important decision.
