Chad & Beth

Our promise to you,
is to love your child with all our hearts and give your child all that it is we have to give. We have a special place in our family for your child. He or She will be told the story of their special journey to us and the sacrifice and love that made it possible. You will always have a special place in the heart of your child.

Why Adoption... Simply, we want to love another child, life has limited our ability to add to our family in a traditional manner and adoption feels so natural to us. We feel your consideration of adoption is an act of the greatest love.

We have all the respect and admiration of your decision and appreciate the gravity of your decision. We can only imagine the amount of love, courage and selflessness it takes to make such decision.

About Chad: Chad is an authentic person who surprises people with his awesome humor. He is confident and not afraid to stand up for what he believes. He has been instrumental in teaching our girls what it means to be confident and empowered through making their own decisions, however small.

Chad is silly; he makes up his own dances and his own words to songs. We all roll our eyes, but we laugh. We laugh a lot! Chad is also our rock. He works hard to provide for us and to make sure we are all safe and taken care of.Chad is patient and calm, and he helps the girls with homework and the webkinz. The best daddy ever, his world revolves around us all just as it will with your baby.

About Beth: Beth is the love of my life and the heart and soul of our family. She sees the joy and opportunity in things while others see the roadblocks. Where others see the 50 mile drive to a bookstore, Beth sees the unique experience of a bookstore with live chickens and pigs in the store. While others see flour as an ingredient to chocolate chip cookies she sees it as a key ingredient to a flour fight. She ensures the kids get the opportunities they need and to the places they need to be. She cannot wait to do this with your child, because being a mom is her greatest passion and gift in life.

The Girls: We have two daughters; Madeline who is 7 and Eileen who is 5. They are both bright and energetic. Maddy is very affectionate and caring. She loves the outdoors, every animal she sees and wants to keep them safe and warm. Ellie is independent, silly, and loves everything there is to do with water. We cannot get her out of the bath tub. They are both very excited to welcome a new brother or sister into their lives.

Family: When Chad's whole family gathers, it is a small country!! The whole family (48+) can be found together for the holidays or for the annual family reunion in Iowa. The whole troop takes four days to camp out, cook over a campfire, play water games, cards and have fun as a family. Beth's entire family is within 45 minutes, so we see them often. Grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins are all at birthday parties, school events and dance recitals.

Creating our memories and traditions will always be who we are. Family customs include: watching "Happy Thanksgiving Charlie Brown" , camping on Madeline Island, fishing with Daddy, building snowmen, making snow angels, Christmas at Nana and Papas and having picnics on the living room floor.

Our Lifestyle: Our Life is centered in family. We rarely make a decision for any one member of our family. All decisions take into consideration the impact on all members of our family. We love when our home becomes the neighborhood play ground. We enjoy watching our children play, laugh and grow up in front of our eyes.

We built our home six years ago to be comfortable and welcoming. We strive to eat together every night and talk about our day; what was important and what we learned. We are generally outside watching the kids on the jumpy, skating on the pond, or just running with the neighbors. In the evening, we love a backyard campfire with marshmallows and going for a frog hunt with the kids.

We are open to answering any questions and encourage you to contact us. Now that you know something about us, we look forward to learning more about you and your hopes and dreams for yourself and your baby. We can not begin to understand the difficulty of your decision, but would like you to know we are here to support you. Our hope is that this letter reflects who we are as people, partners and parents.

With our warmest regards,

Beth and Chad
