Chris & Amy

HELLO As you begin your journey of searching for a family to parent your child, please know that we admire your courage and wish you the best. We believe you are special for considering adoption and our hearts go out to you as you face what must be a difficult decision. We have also been on a journey trying to grow our family and we hope that we can find each other along the way!

OUR STORY We met 13 years ago while attending college in central Minnesota. We married four years later and bought our first home together. We began our careers and added our first member to the household—our beloved family dog named Sierra!

Five years later we decided it was time to start our family and excitedly awaited Mason's arrival. Upon the birth of our son, we put Amy's career on hold to start her new role as stay-at-home mom. Realizing the fertility challenges that lay ahead, we quickly began the process of trying to bring another baby into our lives.

Four years passed when we realized God's plan for us included a baby that would join our family through adoption. We count our blessings that there are people such as yourself willing to help couples like us realize our dream!

OUR FAMILY Chris was born an identical twin so he has the unique understanding of the special bond that exists between siblings. The bond with his twin remains strong today and has extended to include a close relationship between our two families. We eagerly celebrated the births of our two nieces (ages 2 & 5), who hold a special place in our hearts and often spend time with us at our home. Our families spend many weekends together enjoying the precious connections we share with one another.

Grandma and Grandpa have been known to call asking if we can make plans so they can babysit! Slumber parties, complete with forts, flashlights, books, popcorn and ice cream are common at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Amy was raised an only child which has contributed to her desire in wanting a larger family. Amy has a remarkable bond with her parents that lovingly grew to include Chris and Mason. We cherish all the time we spend together—including our weekly dinners, frequent visits and even family vacations!

Amy's parents, Nanna and Pop-Pop, have one priority in life—grandchildren! While Mason is currently their only grandchild, they are eagerly awaiting another through adoption.

OUR HOME We live in a wonderful home in a western suburb of the Twin Cities. We are situated in a young, thriving neighborhood in a small lake community with a fantastic school system. Bustling with lots of energy and kids, our neighborhood park is located just down the street from our home. With access to lots of water activities, recreational parks and trails, life is never boring in our community!

OUR LIFESTYLE Together, we are passionate about our family and enjoy many activities that include traveling and boating with Mason, entertaining, and physical fitness. Amy's hobbies include reading, cooking, baking, gardening, decorating, jogging and yoga. As a stay-at-home-mom, Amy looks forward to volunteering at school functions. As a sports enthusiast, Chris enjoys hockey, football, baseball, weight-training, hunting and fishing. He dreams of the day when he is able to coach his child's hockey team.

OUR WISH We think of you often as you embark on your search in choosing a family to parent your child. We wish you the best and hope that you will find peace with the decisions that lie ahead. Please give us a call as we would love to hear from you!
