CHRIS AND JENNY

Hello. We are thankful that you would take some time to let us introduce ourselves. Ever since we started dating we shared the goal of raising children together. Although there have been some struggles, it has never been "if" but "when" we'll have a child or children to join our family, and we are thrilled to fulfill that dream through adoption!

Chris would consider himself a cat person, while Jenny is more of a dog lover. This works out fine, as we have both a dog and a cat: "Gerda" and "Gramps". As young adults we both caught the travel bug, and together we have seen much of this wonderful world. Travel, and the exposure to new experiences, is one of the most important things in our life. When shared, it becomes even more fun and meaningful. We have every intention to expose our child or children to the world. In fact we just returned from a wonderful trip to Barcelona, Spain.

MEET CHRIS:
Chris is a chef in Bloomington and has been cooking since he was a small child. First his grandmother, then his mom and dad, taught him the fun and the value of cooking and eating good food. Chris is also a student at the U of MN working on his BA in history. He has a love of books, music, food and a general love of life. According to Jenny, he is the smartest person she knows and has a warm and generous spirit.

MEET JENNY:
Jenny is a nurse at U of MN, and she holds three post-secondary degrees. Needless to say, education is important to her too. She played volleyball for St. Thomas as an undergraduate, so she's the jock in the family. She is generous, hardworking, and caring. According to Chris, she has the biggest heart of anyone he knows.

We have been together for over five years and married for two. We live in the Mac Groveland neighborhood in Saint Paul with huge trees arching overhead along the street. Our house is across the street from a highly regarded public elementary school, with two big playgrounds, tennis courts, and baseball diamonds. Just two blocks away are two great family restaurants and fun stores for kids. We both love living here!

Thank you for taking a moment to glimpse into our lives. The pressures you must be feeling, the choices in front of you, we can barely imagine it. But know that what you have started we will continue. Know too that this child will have no lack of love, structure, family or opportunities.
