Daniel & Suzanne

Hello! Our hearts go out to you during this time of difficult decisions. We are excited for you to read this letter and hope that you will get an idea of the loving home your child would be welcomed into if you choose us as parents.

Adoption is already in our family
We have been married for five years and are thrilled to welcome a baby into our lives! After several years of trying to get pregnant, we learned that we likely won't be able to have a child biologically. Adoption is already in our family. Daniel's brother is a birth father who made an adoption plan for his daughter. We have an open relationship with her adoptive parents and would certainly consider an open adoption with you if that is your desire. We have dreamed of being parents for a long time and are incredibly excited to adopt.

Daniel: adventurous; hard-working; encouraging;
Daniel is most alive when he is able to be creative and see the possibilities life has to offer. He is adventurous; loving to be active and out in nature. He is often found rollerblading or biking through the wooded trails and parks near our home. Daniel looks forward to teaching our future kids camping skills and how to ride a bike.

Hard working and always there for those who need him, Daniel puts the needs of others before his own. He is successful at his job as a computer programmer and also enjoys gardening and house projects. Honesty, integrity, and kindness are values passed on to Daniel by his parents. He looks forward to sharing these and other Christian values with our children. Daniel is good at helping others achieve their potential and giving them confidence. He is a great encourager and will make a wonderful dad!

Suzanne: caring; passionate; fun;
Suzanne has a caring spirit; she enjoys meeting the needs of others. She is a good listener and has a gentle way of helping others to express themselves. With a passion for learning, Suzanne is pursuing her master•s degree with hopes of teaching in the future. She is also passionate about healthy eating and is gifted at making delicious homemade meals. Her caring heart and gift for making food come together when she is able to provide meals for those in need.

Suzanne is lighthearted and enjoys being playful and having fun. When her family stayed with us for Christmas, she had our niece and nephew hopping around like frogs and laughing hysterically. In the evening, she built a "girls only" fort with our niece in the living room and invited all of her sisters to join in the fun! Suzanne has a creative imagination and sense of humor that invites others to have a good time. With a welcoming heart, Suzanne enjoys opening our home to others. She can't wait to stay home and be a full time mom!

Our Home and Community
We live in a northern suburb of Minneapolis and really enjoy the wooded park that sits just beyond our backyard fence. Daniel remembers adventures in the woods with his brothers growing up, and is excited to share his love for nature with our future kids. Suzanne grew up in the city and remembers her dad taking her to IHOP on Saturday mornings for one-on-one quality time. She is excited to be close to shops and restaurants, as our community is the perfect blend of our past experiences and the hopes we have for our children.

Some of our favorite things:

• Camping trips as a family.
• Trips to the corner store for ice cream treats and fun.
• Entertaining friends and family in our home.
• Traveling – whether taking a quick getaway up north or visiting family in Florida.
• Walking our dog through nearby parks and trails
• Blueberry waffles in our PJs on Saturday mornings.
