Open Adoption & Our Family
We have been married for 8 years and always had a dream of creating a loving family. We both were raised with strong family values and have created our own strong family foundation. Seven years ago our family grew, through the gift of open adoption, to include our now 7-year-old son and our 11 year old daughter (when she was 4). We believe in open adoption and value a life long relationship with the birth family. We are excited to grow our family once again!

About Eric
Loves Being a Stay-At-Home Father
The day our son, Wagner, was born, I became a stay at home father. Five months later, I became a father of two when our daughter Ella joined our family at 4 yrs old. I have always dreamed of being a father and guiding my children through life. Actively involved in their school and activities, I also believe education begins at home. I strive to bring new experiences to their lives that enrich their individuality and strengthen their self-esteem. With a college degree in business, I work part-time as a tax preparer and occasionally during the summer I teach motorcycle lessons. I also volunteer in the community. I love being a stay at home father!

About Ed
Business Executive & Kids Sports Coach
My childhood was full of love and laughter. I grew up in a small town in upstate N.Y. with my parents and 5 siblings. Our family values were respect, kindness, love, education and hard work. After college, I moved to Boston, for 7 years, and have lived in Minnesota ever since. I love being a partner to Eric, and a father to our children! My passion for sports started when I was a child playing football, basketball and tennis. Today, I volunteer as a coach for the children's soccer and little league. My other interests include cooking, playing piano and studying Spanish. The kids and I have a tradition of cooking pancakes on the weekends and going to the park to play. I've always dreamed of having a large family!

Ella
Ella is a creative young girl who loves art, animals and outdoor activities.She has been taking piano lessons for over six years and has developed a connection with her music. Active with swimming, skating, soccer and softball, each summer she looks forward to horse camp. In addition to her friends from school, her best friend is her brother. Ella is excited to be a big sister once again!

Wagner
Wagner has an adventurous personality and a creative imagination. When it comes to sports, he wants to play everything from hockey to wrestling. He has been playing piano for 2 years and is currently in Spanish Immersion. He loves to wrestle with dad or snuggle on the couch watching T.V. He is excited to be a big brother!

On Parenting
Family time is a very important part of our lives. We always share meals at the dinner table and learn to laugh about our mistakes. Our priorities include education, respect and self-esteem. We encourage the children to try new experiences. Self expression is valued in all they do.

Our family home
We live in Golden Valley, MN in a family oriented neighborhood. There is a wonderful footpath across the street leading to a creek. Local parks are just a few blocks away where the kids enjoy year-round activities. In our very friendly neighborhood there is a nice balance of new families and long-time residents.
