Hello! Thank you so much for reading our letter. We respect you for turning to adoption for your child, and we appreciate the opportunity to have you learn about us on your path to selecting the right family for you. If you choose us, your child will always know your adoption decision was a selfless act of love, and that you worked hard to find a good home.

About us
We have been happily married since 2007. As best friends, we have fun being together: going to the movies, trying out new restaurants, cooking dinner together, and traveling. After years of trying to have a baby, parenting is our top priority, and we are so excited to build our family through adoption!

Family means everything to us
Family and home are most important in our lives. Both our parents have been married over 40 years, and most family members live within minutes of us. Because adoption is already in our family with our sister-in-law, we understand the beautiful expression of love it is. We all would be honored to welcome this new child into the family.

Meet Garrick
Garrick will be an amazing dad and role model! He is dedicated, easy going, sensitive, patient and protective of his family. He looks forward to spending lots of time teaching a child new things, being goofy around the house, and taking a child along on trips to his parents' farm.

Garrick grew up with his four siblings on a farm where he spent his childhood riding motorbikes and taking guitar lessons. Today he loves cars and trucks, fishing, playing guitar, and grilling. He has a degree in Computers and works for a large company in Minneapolis.

Meet Joanna
Joanna will be a stay at home mom! She is a caring, honest woman who will be a loving guide to a child. She grew up in the suburbs with her parents and four brothers, where she took dance classes and played tennis in school. In college Joanna studied Art History and has a degree in Business. She currently works as a project manager and her hobbies include baking, gardening and reading. She can't wait to be a full time mom!

Parenting
We believe in raising a child with lots of love and fun (one of our weekly traditions is "Friday night pizza"). We look forward to being involved in children's activities and are committed to giving every opportunity to learn through education and experiences such as travel, music, and church. We can't wait to spend time together as a family!
