Jeanine and Peter

Hello...
We want to thank you for taking the time to consider adoption. It is amazing to think that two totally separate life situations could be brought together in such a special way. We love being parents and want more than anything to expand our family. We have been unable to conceive a second time and feel a large void in our lives without another child.

With adoption experiences on both sides of our family, Jeanine's sister and husband are adopting for a second time and Peter's cousin is a birthmother that has made an adoption plan, we know how successful and rewarding adoption can be. We know it is right for our family!

About My Wife Jeanine...
It all started with my mother giving me a phone number of a nice new band director that taught in the school where my mom worked. Married for six years now, with a 3½ year old daughter Sophia, I never could have imagined all the adventure we would go on; camping, road trips, band trips and golf vacations just to name a few.

Jeanine has taught 7-12th grade band at the local high school for the past seven years. She is a great leader and teacher! Jeanine loves spending time with family and friends. She is an amazing cook and loves to have people over to share one of her fantastic meals. Jeanine is great at planning parties and events. She always puts caring for others before herself. She enjoys camping, playing board games, scrapbooking, and golfing. Jeanine is a wonderful wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend to so many people. She is my best friend. Who would have known one phone call would change my life in so many ways!

About My Husband Peter...
Peter was raised on a small family farm in rural Minnesota. He's not too much of a farm boy anymore, but still enjoys days gathering with family to get jobs done. In his free time Peter loves to golf. I have introduced Peter to travel and he has gotten me hooked on golf. We have enjoyed many vacations throughout the United States.

Peter is a talented drafter and designer specializing in high-end custom homes. He had a great time designing our home that we built on two acres in the town Peter grew up in.

Peter is sensitive and soft spoken; he is the ultimate family man, and hard worker. Respectful and trustworthy, he is my confidant and support. Peter is the one who wipes away my tears and makes me smile. He is patient and a good listener. As my rock and true love, Peter is an amazing father!

Sophia...
Sophia is a curly red-head with a vibrant personality. She loves to sing and dance and is always on the go. Some of her favorite activities include swimming, camping, playing with her cousins, coloring, and reading books, her favorites these days are Horton Hatches an Egg by Dr. Seuss and Fancy Nancy! She keeps asking when she can be a big sister!

Family...
Coming from large, close families, Peter and Jeanine are blessed to have them all live nearby. It is not uncommon to have spontaneous get-togethers such as visits to the zoo, barbeques, and trips to the beach. Holidays are huge gatherings filled with joy and laughter. Our family is our rock.

Some of our favorite activities include hanging out on our deck and playing in the backyard, visiting the zoo, camping, golfing, and exploring Uncle Orin's horse ranch. Last summer we took a road trip through nine states and visited two of the Great Lakes, three zoos, Grants Farm, the St. Louis Arch, and the Kentucky Horse Park. This summer we headed to the U.P. of Michigan where we visited Mackinac Island and the SOO Locks.

Pepper...
Pepper is our 6 year old Pug. She loves to lie on the couch and snore really loud! She is very gentle and people friendly. Pep loves attention!

Neighborhood...
We live in a rural suburb south of the Twin Cities. Our neighborhood is small with lots of kids. Our neighbors are great. It is not unusual to see large groups of neighbors just hanging out chatting.

Please know...
It is with the greatest sincerity and appreciation that we thank you for taking the opportunity to read about our family and our lives. We admire and respect your courage while you decide if placing your child for adoption is the best decision.

We are very thankful for special people like you. We would plan to be open and honest with your child about adoption. If you choose us as parents we will make sure your child knows where they came from and the love and sacrifice you have given.
