Hi, my name is Julie.
I don't know what you might be going through as you make these difficult and loving decisions about what is best for you and your child, but you are showing a lot of strength and courage. As you consider your options, I'd like to tell you about me and my family, why I'd love to adopt your child, and the kind of life I would provide for your child.

Why I want to adopt again
Because I really wanted to be a mom but had not yet met the right man for me to marry, I adopted a newborn baby, Liliana, who turned three last fall. I love being a mom and am providing Lily a happy home and upbringing. We do lots of fun things together; we go to the library, take swimming and dance lessons, go to musical and children's theater performances, attend sports events and fairs, have family and friends over, go sledding in the winter, and in the summer go to the playground and to our lake cabin.

Our life and future
I want to have another child to raise, love, and watch grow. At 3-1/2, Lily loves babies and is ready to be a big sister. As a family, we will do many things together, including traveling. So far, Liliana and I have gone twice to my sister's condo in Florida and to visit friends in Scotland. In the few years before Lily was born, I went to Africa, Holland, Paris, and the Grand Canyon where I took a mule ride to the bottom. I look forward to bringing my children to some of these same places and many more. As part of my family, your child will have many opportunities to do and see many interesting things.

Our family and friends
Lily and I have many close friends and family who are a big part of our lives. My sister is a wonderful auntie. She is fun and creative, and kids love her. Her lake cabin is right next to ours, making summers really fun. Boating, swimming, fishing, camp fires, feeding birds, watering flowers and having picnics are a big part of our lives all summer. We live in a neighborhood with lots of kids, have kids over to play frequently, and have many cousins who we see throughout the year.

What I do for a living
I have a great job in public relations and communications. With a Bachelor's degree in English and a Master's degree in Business, I feel well established in my career. My work situation allows me the flexibility to be involved in activities with my children, and allows me to take time off and have reduced hours for several months after adopting a baby.

Our home
I own a new home in a suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota in a very nice neighborhood with paved trails, woods and fields, a large park and playground, and many kids. We live right next to a big hill for sledding in the winter.

And you?
I would love to meet you and hear about your hopes and dreams for your child. I will make sure your child always knows what a loving and courageous decision you made in bringing us together, and how much you love and care about them and their future. Depending on your wishes, I'd gladly consider an open adoption. I currently have an open relationship with my daughter's birth mom. I hope you will get in touch if you want to consider me as an adoptive mom. Call me collect at 651-260-1535 (cell phone) anytime, or email me at

Whatever decisions you make, my warmest wishes are with both you and your baby for a full and happy life.

With Love,

Julie
