Keri & Dean

Hi There! We're Keri and Dean and we want to thank you for taking the time to learn about us, and for making this incredibly brave and selfless choice. We're excited at the possibility of being your partner on this journey and hope we can get to know you better.

About Us
We've been married for eight years and live in Saint Paul with our three-year old son, Griffin. He is a great little boy who makes every day fun. We both have interesting and rewarding careers. Griffin attends a daycare that he loves part of the week and also spends a day each week with his grandma.

We always hoped for more children. Keri delivered a set of triplets-Olivia, Jack and Gracie—but because they were so premature, we lost all three of them soon after they were born. We keep their memory alive with a charity we started that benefits the Neonatal Unit at Children's Hospital-The Three Angels Fund.

Keri
"I love spending time with family and friends—the friends I'm closest to go back as far as kindergarten! I have a master's degree in communication—and enjoy learning—even if Dean teasingly claims it makes me kind of a nerd :) I also love to travel and want our kids to see the world. As a marketing manager I have the flexibility to work from home, which is great for a working mom."
Dean on Keri: "Keri's family and friends are important to her—and she's an amazing mother. She's smart and strong and has the biggest heart. She has so much love to give, and can't wait to be a mom again."

Dean
"I enjoy trying different sports—particularly martial arts. I joined the Marines after high school and went back to earn my college degree after being in the business world. Like Keri, I really enjoy seeing the world and learning new perspectives. I work in sales and also have the ability to work from the home office."
Keri on Dean: "Dean is one of those guys that people just gravitate toward. He's open to meeting new people and having new experiences and I think it's been a great example for our son. He's an incredible father, and our son thinks he's a superhero."

Griffin
Griffin is an active and curious three-year old. His favorite things include trains, cars and anything to do with construction or firefighters. He also loves our dog, Jimmy and our fat orange cat, Leo. He's so affectionate and loving, we know he'll make a great big brother.

Our Family
Our families live close by and we see them often. Keri has three older brothers and four terrific nieces. She talks to her mom every day. Dean has three younger sisters. He has a nephew as well as a niece, who is adopted. His parents live close by and love being grandparents. The most important thing is that our kids are surrounded with people who love them—and are thrilled by the idea of us bringing another child into our lives through adoption.

Our Life
We own a home in the city, conveniently located near downtown Saint Paul and Grand Avenue. There is a park across the street and we love to play there. We both grew up in the area and love everything the city has to offer, including shops, museums and restaurants. Our real passion is about being together as a family. Being parents is our highest priority and what brings us the most happiness.

In Closing
Our goal is to make every day a great experience, and to take nothing for granted. Our family is our life, and if you entrust us with your precious child, we will do everything in our power to provide them with a happy life—full of love, laughter, family and adventure.
