We are Marc & Jenny
We have something very important in common — we both want the best for your child. Your decision to allow others to raise your child takes an enormous amount of courage and trust. If you chose us to parent your child, know that your child will be raised to value the qualities that you have expressed by your decision; unselfishness, love, courage, trust and faith.

We are so excited to become parents and to help your child grow into a happy and loving person. Hopefully our letter gives you a glimpse into who we are and what we have to offer.

We currently don't have any children and would like to grow our family that consists of the two of us and our two dogs, Jack and Jill. Jack and Jill are 3 year-old Shih Tzus and are wonderful with children!

Our beginnings - We met online. Yes, it's true! We both signed up for a trial period for an on-line dating service and connected right away, because we share similar values, qualities and interests. Some of those similar qualities include sharing a great sense of humor, adventurous spirit and a love for life.

Our marriage is based on love, mutual respect, shared interests and a commitment to family. We are best friends. We support one another in everything we do. We always knew that we wanted to have a family, and when we were unable to conceive, we turned to adoption as the best way to build our family.

About Marc...from Jenny - Marc is a loving, compassionate, supportive, adventurous and generous man. He has an un-wavering positive outlook on life and faith that God will provide everything that we need, including a family. He loves sports, music and spending time with family. Because of his character, diverse interests and warmth, he will be a wonderful dad.

He LOVES anything Disney. He's been to Disney World at least once a year for the past 7 years. He can't wait to bring our children to Disney World and watch their eyes shine with the same child-like joy he has for Disney. Marc also is excited to share his love for reading and the artwork in his "graphic novel" collection (aka comic books).

About Jenny...from Marc - Jenny is the embodiment of love and warmth. There will never be a better mother, one who is understanding and patient, nurturing and caring, and has an endless supply of love. She is always putting the needs of others first. Charismatic, loving and kindhearted, she is a wonderful caregiver, always knowing when someone needs encouragement and support. She is also generous, protective and understanding.

Faith in God helps Jenny during life's ups and downs, especially while she's been waiting to be a mom.

Jenny's hobbies include: reading, gardening, theater, music and gathering with family & friends

Our Family & Home - We take every opportunity to be together with our families, and we are very fortunate to have our parents living just a few miles away. We often get together with our families for holidays, birthdays, barbecues, and good times. Our families are very excited to love another child, and they are very happy about our decision to adopt.

We live in a house near Valley Fair that is big enough to build our family in and cozy enough to call "home". Our neighborhood is filled with over 20 kids ranging in ages from newborn to teens.

Our Fun Times - We enjoy our free time and love the adventure of trying new things. We both have an adventurous spirit, and we share the thrill of amusement park rides. Ever try going on Power Tower? It's not the drop that's scary--it's the long...slow...ride...up! We will teach our children that being adventurous will mold the person that they will become, but we would never push our children to do anything that they aren't comfortable with or ready for. There's lots of adventure to be found with both feet planted firmly on the ground!

We also love to travel. Our favorite vacation spot is Walt Disney World. We can't wait to take our children there and share the magic!

One of our newest passions is boating. We bought a family boat and spend every available weekend on Lake Minnetonka. We love spending time on the water and can't wait to share this aquatic adventure with our children.

Our Values - We will teach our children about kindness, compassion and honesty. Our children will be raised with a lot of praise and positive reinforcement, to ensure a strong sense of self-esteem. We both believe in helping develop a young person's mind with as much imagination, creativity and intellectual stimulation as possible, and a strong education. We will build our world around loving our children and do everything that we can to make sure their lives are full of love.
