Mark and Andrea

Hi! Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to introduce ourselves and our family to you. We are grateful that you love your unborn child so much that you are willing to consider an adoption plan, and hope that we might be the family that you have dreamt of for your child.

Our foundation is rooted in family. We have been married for 6 wonderful years and have always wanted to have a large family but found that we were unable to have children. We live in a close-knit neighborhood and love to be home, but we also love adventure and travel. Having a child to love and show the world to would be the greatest gift of all to us!

Mark is a caring person who cherishes his time with family and can't wait to be a father. Mark was raised in a small but close family that provided him a warm environment with strong values and character. The balance of love and life lessons is evident in his daily life, and he hopes to be able to raise a family in the same manner.

His family has owned several restaurants which is where he developed his love of food and cooking. He is truly a wonderful cook! Mark is an avid cyclist and snow skier and is hoping to add sailing to his repertoire. Nothing would please him more than to be able to share those and other new experiences with a child.

Andrea is looking forward to making cookies, helping with school work, and extending our tranquil, loving family to a child. As an adopted child herself, Andrea knows the value of a loving household and family. She loves to have picnics at the area parks overlooking the scenic lakes or simply playing in the park with our dogs.

Andrea was fortunate to receive her great grandfather's violin which she recently restored and is learning to play. Andrea currently works for a publishing company and eagerly waits to become the stay-at-home mom that she has always wanted to be!

Our Home and Community
Our suburban home is located on a street with many young children of whom five are adopted. The families in our neighborhood are close knit, and we watch out for each other and for the children as they safely play in our yards. There are regular gatherings that revolve around family barbeques, children's activities, and a book club.

Often, our weekends involve picnics by the many area lakes, attending the local farmers market, or simply to enjoying a local park. We like to be outside and live a healthy balanced lifestyle.

As we close our letter to you, we would like you to know that we will tell your baby how much he or she is loved by you, as well as anything else you would like him or her to know about you. We are open to talking about continuing contact and keeping in touch with you through pictures and visits.

We would love to hear from you!
