Hello! Thank you for taking the time to learn about us. We respect and admire you for considering adoption for your child and hope that you find peace as you make this difficult decision. We have always known that we wanted a family. While struggling with infertility, we realized that adoption is the best way for us to become parents! About Us: We have been together 9 years and have been married for 5 years. We enjoy spending time with our families and are lucky to have both sets of parents living within an hour of our home. We're able to get together frequently. We especially enjoy spending time with our nieces and nephews; going to the zoo, baking cookies and having popcorn and movie nights. Both of our families are very supportive of our plans to adopt and look forward to meeting the newest member of the family. About Jessica: She is a caring, understanding person and a very loyal friend who continues to maintain friendships from grade school through college. Jessica loves playing piano and volleyball, reading and spending time at the lake with family and friends. She works in accounting and can't wait to About Nate: Nate loves kids and is a dedicated elementary teacher and coach. In the summer months you can find Nate playing baseball and softball. He is outgoing, funny, and supportive of family and friends- especially those he served with in Afghanistan. In addition to baseball, Nate enjoys fishing, golf and reading. Nate is excited to become a dad and coach our child's sports teams. Our Values: Both of us were raised in Christian families where we were taught to treat others as we want to be treated. As parents, we want to teach our children kindness, honesty and respect for others. We will support and encourage our children to achieve their dreams, and will provide them with a safe, nurturing, and happy home filled with fun and love. Home & Community: We live in a non-metro city and our neighborhood includes several young families. We are very close to a public school as well as a trail where we bicycle and walk.
