We cannot imagine what your journey to create an adoption plan is like, but we love you for the courage to do so. If you choose us, we promise that your child will know their adoption story from the start and you will always have a special place in our hearts.

WE ARE SHEA AND MATT, happily married for 12 years and thrilled to become parents for the first time! We met in the Army and quickly discovered that we love life together!

ADOPTION
Adoption is a big part of our lives because Shea and her older brother are adopted. Recently, in a public meeting, Shea's adoptive father publicly shared his joy about becoming a grandfather again through the gift of adoption.

We have chosen adoption because we are not able to have biological children. Rest assured that your child would be the center of our universe! We are very open to sharing in the joy of raising your child and would welcome the opportunity to meet in person if you choose.

MEET SHEA
Shea's greatest dream in life is to become a mom. Growing up, Shea played hockey with her older brother (only girl on the team!) and had fun dressing up with her younger sister. Shea can't wait to nurture the spirit and health of your child with patience and love. Her hobbies include: exercising, cooking, painting, and making jewelry. Shea is truly a "mom in waiting"!

MEET MATT
Matt's biggest goal in life is to be known as a great husband and father. Growing up, Matt enjoyed sharing adventures like Boy Scouts with his younger brother. He earned his Master's Degree, and now works as a Director for a medical device company. Matt enjoys exercising, working on old cars, and football. Matt can't wait to embrace the joys of fatherhood and help your child develop their interests and passions!

LIFE WITH SHEA AND MATT
Finding the fun is easy for us, whether it's an outdoor adventure, board game, or traveling to one of our favorite vacation spots. Bella, our gentle Collie, joined our family in 2010, and her playful spirit adds to the fun wherever we go.

Our extended families are a constant source of loving support and companionship. We enjoy frequent family visits with our parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, and nephews. They can't wait to embrace your child as a new member of our large family!

We love our home in the northwest suburbs of Minneapolis on a cul-de-sac with a large fenced backyard. Our neighborhood is filled with diverse families our age, lots of children (14 kids on our street alone!), and has playgrounds and woods which are perfect for kids.

We promise to raise your child with unconditional love and security. Our dream is to provide your child with a strong sense of values, a solid education through college, and exposure to diverse experiences. We want your child to become what he or she is meant to become, and feel like they have no limits! From day one, your child will forever know of your love, and the journey that brought us together.
