As adoptive parents already we understand that the decision to place your baby for adoption is a very brave and courageous decision to consider. We're just grateful you're considering us and hope we paint a helpful picture of who we are, and why we might be the right family to raise the child you love so much. Joe The Man of My Dreams-Joe is a hard working, fun guy who loves to make people laugh! Joe has a Journeyman's degree in painting and decorating and is a commercial painter. He's proud to say he helped paint the Mall of America, The Excel Center, and the new Twin's Stadium. He plays softball, goes hunting and loves going fishing. Joe has always loved kids and they especially love him! With 3 nephews and 3 nieces they all love to run and jump into Joe's arms when he comes into the room. My favorite thing about Joe though is the unconditional love he has for our son Connor, Whether it be teaching Connor to fish or learning to play baseball, the love of being a dad just radiates from Joe's face! Tawnya Tawnya The Love of My Life-Tawnya is a caring, sensitive mom who loves to be around her family. Tawnya helps her mom run a bridal shop and have been in business 15 years now. She will however enjoy working from home when another baby joins our family. Growing up Tawnya was involved in many sports and she continues to enjoy playing them with "her boys" in the yard. Tawnya's real passion though is being a mom! She loves doing puzzles, playing games and reading with Connor. Their bond is truly inseparable. Tawnya is a wonderful wife and mother and can't wait to share her love with another child! Joe
Connor is an energetic boy who loves to play outside and get dirty. He loves all kinds of animals, but especially his dog Scout and his cat MoMo. His favorite things are playing soccer, baseball, and going fishing. He is a very loving kid and has a very compassionate heart! He loves going to school and especially being around other kids. Connor is a GREAT kid and can't wait to be a big brother! Open Adoption We arrived at the hospital an hour after Connor's birth and instantly had this overwhelming love and immediate bond with him. It is hard to express in words the respect and gratitude we have for Connor's birth mom. We continue to have an open relationship with her by sending photos and letters. We are FOREVER THANKFUL to have her in our family and would love to have a chance to expand our family and to share our love and life with another child and birth mom. FUN FAMILY FACTS!
Getting to know us! We are an active family who love having fun together. No matter the season, we love to go fishing! Connor caught his first fish when he was only three years old. We also love to travel, whether it be as close as Wisconsin Dells or as far away as Florida. We also take a family vacation every summer with Tawnya's family up to Gull lake. We spend the whole week fishing, tubing and having fun in the sun!
We promise to love your child with all our hearts and he/she will always know how much you love them as well. Fortunately, our financial position will enable us to send our children to college and we will always encourage them to live their dreams to the fullest. Again, thank you for reading our letter.
