Hello! We are Tom and Nikki, and we’d like you to know how deeply we respect you for considering an adoption plan for your baby. It takes an incredibly courageous and loving person to be able to make such a difficult decision.

About Us
We began dating while we were both attending college in Duluth. A couple of years after graduation, we said our “I do’s” and have been happily married ever since. We’ve always known that we wanted to be parents, and have decided that adoption is the way that our family is meant to grow and become complete.

Life With Us
We would be honored to be chosen as adoptive parents for your child, and you can expect that your child would be welcomed into our lives with unlimited happiness and love. As parents, we plan to raise our children in a Christian environment, and teach them to become confident and independent individuals with strong values. From family vacations to a college education, we will provide them with many different experiences and opportunities, and of course, we want to have tons of fun along the way!!!

About Tom
"Tom is honest, kind and intelligent, and he has a great sense of humor that keeps everyone laughing continuously (even when you’re trying your hardest not to!). His fun personality makes people instantly comfortable around him, which is a trait that definitely comes in handy as he manages the family business. In his spare time, Tom enjoys taking on his buddies in a game of darts, hunting, fishing, and watching or playing sports. Baseball is usually his first choice (he inherited his love of the St. Louis Cardinals from his dad), with football and golf not far behind. Many of our friends have young children, and they all adore Tom. Its quite common for Tom to get a phone call on Monday evenings from his friend’s little 3 year old daughter doing a Hank Williams Jr. impersonation, and asking, “Are you ready for some footballl?!” It’s hilarious! Tom will be a fantastic dad, and I look forward to the day I can enjoy watching him play with our children." ~Nikki

About Nikki
"Nikki is a very kind and loving person. She enjoys working on various remodeling and decorating projects around our house, and has managed to help my sister redo just about every room in their house as well. When she’s not pretending to be “Bob the Builder”, all I have to do is look out the window and I can find her in the garden. There is no doubt in my mind that Nikki will be a great mom! I love watching her teach our little nephew Gideon new tricks, or listening to how our nephew Abraham looks forward to that special day each spring when Nikki takes him to the Minneapolis Farmers Market to help her pick out veggies and flowers for them to bring home and spend the rest of the afternoon planting in the garden. She is patient and loving and works hard at every thing she does. Her job as an Engineer is quite flexible, and she is looking forward to the opportunity of taking 6 months off when we are blessed with a child to adopt." ~Tom

Our Families
Our families are an extremely important part of our life, and they are so excited to welcome a new little one into their hearts. Nikki’s parents are anxiously awaiting their first opportunity to take on the proud roles of Grandpa and Grandma, while Tom’s parents, already having three grandsons, have perfected their roles as “Pa” and Grandma and are looking forward to putting their expertise to good use once again!

We are very close with Nikki’s two younger sisters and their husbands and tend to get together often. Whether it’s a round of golf to determine who takes home the family bragging rights, catching a play, a vacation to warmer weather in the winter, or just lending a helping hand, we always have a blast when we’re together. They’re anxious for the days when the new weekend adventure will involve coming to visit a new niece or nephew! All of Tom’s family lives within a half an hour of us, so all it takes is a beautiful evening for an excuse to get together to grill out and play a game of baseball or take a walk down the block to the ice cream shop.

Tom’s older sister and her husband have three adorable little boys, and whether it’s celebrating a birthday, catching a soccer game, or reading to their class at school, we love being a part of their special days. Taking part in family traditions is also important to us. We enjoy carving our pumpkin masterpieces for Halloween, watching fireworks after our annual 4th of July picnic, Nikki’s famous Easter egg hunts, and we look forward to creating some special new traditions with our children.

Our Home & Community
Our home is located in a beautiful suburb southeast of the Twin Cities. We enjoy working on various remodeling projects and are very proud of the charming, comfortable and welcoming home that we’ve created for our family to grow in. Our home is within walking distance to the community pool, elementary school, and many different parks and trails. We also have a great fenced in backyard that has the perfect spot for a swing set and will be a safe and fun environment for our children to play in
